Join MALT for a special community day at Walker Creek Ranch, a stunning 1,720-acre landscape celebrating 40 years of permanent protection. This is the first time MALT has partnered with Walker Creek Ranch to host a community day – we hope you can join us to learn more and explore the ranch.
Walker Creek Ranch is where education, agriculture, and conservation meet. Home to Marin ’s residential outdoor education program, the ranch welcomes 4,500 students annually. It is also a working cattle ranch with gardens and 20 miles of trails.
The ranch recently completed an impactful creek restoration project. A small change to fencing reduced erosion, improved pasture management, and allowed native vegetation to recover—helping stabilize the soil and support healthier habitat for coho salmon and the entire watershed.
