Join us for the 14th Annual Petaluma Community Emergency Preparedness Fair, a family-friendly event designed to help residents learn how to prepare for emergencies and disasters.
Meet local emergency responders, community organizations, Scouts, and preparedness experts while learning practical skills that can help you and your family stay safe before, during, and after an emergency.
Free Activities and Demonstrations
Enjoy hands-on demonstrations and preparedness activities, including:
CPR and first aid demonstrations
Emergency survival and camping skills
Dutch oven cooking
Emergency preparedness information
First aid and emergency survival kits
Opportunities for Scouts to work on preparedness-related requirements and merit badges
Visits with local Scout troops and community organizations
Free Go Bags will be available for the first 100 families.
Meet Local Emergency and Community Partners
Participating organizations and guests listed for the event include Petaluma emergency representatives, Sonoma County Emergency Management, Petaluma Fire and Police Departments, FEMA, the American Red Cross, U.S. Coast Guard, Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office, California Highway Patrol, Cool Petaluma, Girl Scouts, Scouts BSA, and Sea Scouts.
BBQ Lunch and Refreshments
Come hungry! Refreshments will include a BBQ lunch, bake sale, chips, soda, and snow cones. Donations are appreciated and help support Scouts BSA Troop 9.
