The foster children of Marin are grateful for your support!
Did You Know?
Every year in Marin County over 100 children, newborns to teens, are impacted by trauma associated with abuse and neglect and placed in foster care. Due to a shortage of foster homes in Marin, about ¼ of these children (mostly teens) have to be placed out of county, which adds loss of friends and familiarity to their trauma.
Yet the face of foster care in Marin remains shadowed.
Please help raise awareness and crucial funds to support the children in our community.
MFCA's event is designed as a tangible way to get children of all ages involved in the act of philanthropy while building community and supporting our local foster youth.
