The Oakland Magic Circle, a historic organization meeting non-stop since 1925, invites the public to an extraordinary evening of amazement, amusement, and fine dining at its Gala Magic Show and Dinner on Sunday, November 8, 2026. Held at the Piedmont Veterans Memorial Building, the evening will feature world-class stage magic performances by a star-studded lineup of renowned illusionists.
The event kicks off at 5:00 PM, with strolling close-up magicians entertaining guests right at their dinner tables.
A full dinner service will follow from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, featuring a choice between Chicken Marsala with a mushroom and tarragon cream sauce or Vegetarian Pasta Primavera, accompanied by mashed potatoes, fresh steamed vegetables, green salad, rolls, and dessert.
At 7:00 PM, the main stage production begins, delivering a program of spectacular entertainment.
FEATURED STAR PERFORMERS
Christopher Hart: Discovered magic at age eight, trained at the Magic Castle, and toured with David Copperfield. Widely known as "The man with the movie star hand," he portrayed "Thing" in The Addams Family movies and has toured globally with Masters of Illusion.
Bri Crabtree (Emcee): A dynamic San Francisco artist combining juggling, unicycling, physical theater, and magic. She has performed internationally from Dubai to France and for major brands like Google, Netflix, and DreamWorks.
Michael Rappa: Renowned for his classical dove act featuring sleight of hand, music, and comedy. A former SAM National Stage Competition winner, he was named the audience-voted champion at the 2026 Celebrities of Magic Variety Showcase.
William Francis: A San Diego-based magician known for creating moments of wonder, laughter, and connection through approachable close-up and stage magic.
