Children’s Fairyland is excited to present Bedtime Stories, an evening of fun for all

A Special Virtual Fundraising Event

Put on your jammies and cuddle up in your pillow fort: our Fairyland family is coming together to create another magical night.

On September 25 at 6:30 p.m. Pacific time, enjoy an evening with Oakland’s own sharing stories that speak to us all. Not only are Town legends of Blindspotting fame Rafael Casal and Daveed Diggs back with a special sing-a-long, but you’ll also join event host and master storyteller Glynn Washington of Snap Judgment and Spooked to see and hear read-aloud stories from local luminaries, make hot chocolate with Top Chef alumna and queen of the Oakland culinary scene Tanya Holland, meet a shadow puppet, and more.

This virtual event is FREE to experience with your whole family. It is also a fundraiser in support of Fairyland and its mission to stimulate young children's imaginations, creativity, and desire to learn.

Donations through this event will help write the next chapter of Fairyland’s 71-year story. From helping create and present more stories that represent the beautiful diversity of Oakland to broadening access to the power of play for more families, we want our next chapter to be all about community.
