NatureBridge's Preschool Playdates Series, 9:30-11:30am, ages 3-5,  2 hour hands-on program featuring techniques to help engage your children's sense of wonder and guide their natural curiosity during outdoor adventures, NaturesBridge, Sausalito.

Irish Fiddle and Banjo Tunes w/ John Pedersen, 12-1pm, Celebrate St. Paddy's Day with Irish fiddle and banjo tunes played by John Pedersen, local musician and longtime proprietor of Amazing Grace Music. Everyone is welcome to attend. San Anselmo Library.

Sunrise Hike at King Mountain, 6:15 – 8:30am, walk through your local forest to watch the sun rise from the beautiful King Mountain Loop Trail (approximately 1.5 miles). This event is ideal for all ages. Meet at the gate at the end of Ridgecrest Rd in Kentfield.

Novato Mothers Club Annual Rummage and Bake Sale, 9-3pm, Downtown Novato Recreation Center.

Habitat Restoration, 9am-12pm, Remove invasive weeds to restore habitat along Mt. Tam’s lakeshores. Increase your knowledge of Marin’s unique plant and animal life while contributing to their continued survival. This program focuses on invasive species control with an emphasis on French broom. Sites are chosen to be scenic and accessible. Children ages 8 to 16 are welcome if with an adult. Families are welcome!
