Boasting more than 100 entries each year, this parade is one of the largest in the Bay Area. Early in the morning on the 4th, crowds line Novato’s Grant Avenue in the city’s Old Town district -- many of whom planted their folding chairs and blankets in the wee hours of the morning to secure their favorite traditional spot to watch. Parade-goers loves the pageantry of classic cars, color guards, festive floats, bands, fancy cowgirls on golden palominos, decorated basset hounds and the famed comedic marching troop, the Nave Patrola. The parade is famous for its contingent of vintage military vehicles from the Joe Garbarino World War II Military Vehicle Museum in San Rafael, and our military veterans heartily appreciate recognition for their sacrifices to our country.

The parade kicks off the celebration at 11:00 a.m with Ross PD, Ross Fire, marching bands, music, Uncle Sam himself, dogs on parade, and floats of all shapes and sizes. A picnic in Ross Commons follows the parade with great food, games for kids, music, and more!

The annual Homestead Valley 4th of July Parade and BBQ Picnic is a wonderful family oriented event that celebrates our nation’s independence . . . . The day starts at Volunteer Park (the corner of Evergreen and Melrose) where we all gather for the beginning of a community parade to Stolte Grove. Led by a bright red fire truck, the meandering array of kids on bicycles, tricycles, scooters, strollers, dogs, and goats, all decked out in red, white and blue the joyful parade gets underway.

Alameda's 4th of July Parade is the longest in the nation with a route that spans 3.3 miles, attracting more than 170 entries and 2,500 participants. The Parade draws over 60,000 spectators from the region and entries include a full spectrum of Bay Area residents, including equestrians, dance troops, floats, antique cars, community groups, transported and marching bands from both the community and local schools and people of all shapes and sizes.

Join us for a 5K run (3.1 mile) and walk through beautiful Alameda starting at 9:00AM, just before the historic 4th of July Parade. This run benefits the Midway Shelter for Women and Children. We are working closely with the City of Alameda on both the Parade and run so that we can bring a safe and fun experience for both runners and spectators. Our post run expo with music will be the best place to watch the Parade as it passes down Webster.

The Concord 4th of July Fireworks are back for 2021

Load up your family and friends in your car and join us at the Concord Pavilion for the largest Fireworks Display ever seen in Concord presented by Marathon Petroleum. This drive in style event will feature Pyro Spectacular's award winning Fireworks show set to music. Tickets for Concord Residents will go on sales starting Saturday May 29, 2021 at 12:00 PM, and General Tickets will go on sale starting June 4th, 2021 at 12:00 PM. Tickets are $25 per vehicle*.

Orinda’s July 4th tradition, started in the early 1980s by The Orinda Association, is a way to celebrate Independence Day and to celebrate “community.” Thousands of citizens and visitors have gathered in previous years to participate in or watch the parade and attend the numerous events available throughout the day. This year we will have our traditional parade again – as well as a concert in the park following the parade.

This year's parade theme is Celebrating our Educators and our Grand Marshal is Chavonta Edington, Contra Costa County Teacher of the Year. The Kiwanis Club of San Ramon Valley has organized and conducted the annual Kiwanis 4th of July Parade in partnership with the Town of Danville since 1975. The parade attracts 30,000-40,000 spectators each year and is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate America's birth.

Come join us for the thirteenth annual Los Altos Hills 4th of July Parade. We will gather at Town Hall from 9:00 to 9:30 am. Our red, white, and blue march will start at 10:00 am. We will parade down Fremont Road and conclude at Gardner Bullis School where you can meet your friends and neighbors for a refreshing beverage and a juicy watermelon treat! The Los Altos Hills Horseman's Association (LAHHA) will be including six to eight horses in the back of the parade.
