Bay Area Dance Week
/Bay Area Dance Week is a 10-day festival starting April 24 - May 3 and features hundreds of FREE public dance events throughout the entire San Francisco Bay Area. Dance lovers of all ages and experiences will have the opportunity to try out different dance styles, from folk dance as far north as Santa Rosa to international dancing in Livermore to tango in Santa Cruz and hundreds in-between.
Other venues include bhangra, hip hop, ballet, hula, aerial dance, and much more. Visit the Bay Area Dance Week website to discover the wide range of classes, performances, workshops, lectures, demos and more planned. Some stand outs includes a behind the scenes open rehearsal of Cinderella with the Ballet San Jose Silicon Valley, Aerial Dancing in Fairfax, Nordic Folk Dancing in Menlo Park, Bandalooping in Oakland, and Brazilian Carnaval Dance in San Francisco.

Join Dancers' Group and Rhythm & Motion at the 2015 kickoff event for Bay Area Dance Week, "One Dance," a tribute to iconic dances in pop culture. Inspired by the 2014 kickoff event, we brought back some of our favorite dances from last year and added some new ones to the mix. It's a pop culture dance mashup for all ages and dance experiences.
