Giving Kids A Summer In Nature

People Protect What They Love
— Jacques Cousteau

Remember those great moments at summer camp when you fully engaged with the magic of nature all summer long? Sharing experiences with friends, spending hours paddling across a pond, scaling a rock wall, digging deep into the mud and re-charging in the outdoors. Nature education keeps kids happy and rooted to the Earth and connected to their communities. This summer let your kids get wired to the wonders of the natural world.

We are all born with an innate love for life and Marin GreenPlay Camp programs are designed with that in mind.

Campers explore under the watchful eye of our experienced, caring, local guides as they make discoveries about the many habitats we explore right here in our backyards. Organized and unorganized games, waste-free crafts, storytelling, friendship-making, and sensory-based fun round out the week’s activities.

For Grades 3-8:  ROCK FIVE, RIDE FIVE and ROCK & RIDE

Challenging sports creates the space for self-esteem building experiences to happen. Imagine bodyboarding experiences with APB Tour professionals on Muir Beach, Stinson Beach and Bolinas Beach or AMGA certified climbing instructors who coach rock climbing on the rocky outcrops in the Berkeley Hills, Mickey's Beach, Sunset Boulders & Castle Rock all while campers learn about the ecology guided by professional naturalists. You can mix and match Rock and Ride camps. All skill levels are welcome.

Now in its 9th summer, Marin GreenPlay Camp is an award-winning nature awareness and adventure summer camp offering age appropriate, immersive nature programs for young children. Campers will enjoy outdoor rock climbing, boogie boarding, and science programs based on STEM and STEAM principles including marine biology, geology, ecology, natural history, biomimicry, citizen science and other innovative topics for older children as well as community service and engagement.
