Family Days Are Here Again at MarinMOCA

Free Family Day

The Marin Museum of Contemporary Art is bringing back its popular “Family Days” program, completely retooled to meet current health orders. Just in time for Labor Day fun, the artmaking workshop is:

Sunday, October 4, from 11am to 3pm

The event will be completely outdoors on the lawns in front of the museum. Each family will have its own table under an awning for sun protection. The tables are at least 6’ apart from each other. All the components of the art project are in individual kits and no sharing of tools is needed.

In honor of MarinMOCA’S current exhibit "Marin's Rock Art Scene" - kids will making "Rock Art" and painting psychedelic designs onto rocks. All materials provided.

Everyone will wear masks, including children older than two years. The Museum will provide masks if needed. Teachers will explain the project and will provide help from a safe distance. Tables will be disinfected after each use.
