10 Rainy Day Ideas For Kids Bouncing off the Walls

Playland Sausalito

Playland Sausalito is a bounce-house playground for children ages 8 and under located at MLK Gym, 610 Coloma Street in Sausalito. The full-sized gymnasium is filled wall-to-wall with inflatable bounce houses and plenty of toys and games including arcade style basketball hoops, cars and bouncy balls. They are open Monday, Friday and Saturdays.

Museums

Check out an awesome museum and stay dry. The Bay Area is full of great indoor options such as the Bay Area Discovery Museum, California Academy of Science, Aquarium of The Bay, Exploratorium and more!

Bay Model

If you'e looking for a free indoor space for the kids to stretch their legs and expend some energy, the Bay Model is a perfect fit. This three-dimensional hydraulic model of San Francisco Bay and Delta areas are capable of simulating tides and currents. Plus, there are a lot of interesting and educational activities throughout in this Sausalito space. Winter Hours are Tuesday through Saturday - 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
