Social Justice Children’s Book Fair Award
New this year is the inaugural Social Justice Children’s Book Fair Award, given to a children’s author whose work embodies the Social Justice Children’s Book Fair’s mission to support independent creators who conceive, develop, distribute, and champion social justice-themed children’s books. The 2025 Award will be given to three authors: Mona Damluji for her book I Want You to Know, Raquel Donoso for Viva’s Voice, and Maya Gonzalez for The Gender and Infinity Book for Kids. The award ceremony will be on December 5, 2025, 6–8pm, at Chapter 510 in Oakland.
