Join Jack Hines (host of the Ear to the Wild podcast on KRCB/NPR) as he sets up his high-tech audio equipment enabling participants to listen in greater detail to the summer evening soundscape as part of of California Biodiversity Day. This will be a quiet, meditative outing, where we will take a fairly-flat 1-mile walk and spend most of our time listening to summertime sounds such as owls and the Common Poorwill. Registration and more information on our website.
