Join us at Presidio Tunnel Tops for a family-friendly Día de los Muertos & Diwali event in the park. Celebrated annually in the fall season, these two distinct cultural observances come together in a national park to honor South Asian and Latinx traditions. Designed intentionally as a celebration and a learning opportunity, attendees are invited to participate in a wide range of activities that include arts and crafts, storytelling, cultural dance, song, and a fire ceremony, and learn about social and environmental justice issues in both cultures.
Contact Miriam Manda with any accessibility needs at mmanda@presidiotrust.gov or 423.704.7187. Note that submitting your request at least two weeks before the event will help ensure availability.
