San Francisco's Biggest Bavarian Block Party Returns! 

Dust off your lederhosen and dirndl! Oktoberfest on Front, San Francisco’s official Oktoberfest block party, is back on Friday, September 18, 2026.

Co-hosted by the Downtown SF Partnership and Schroeder’s, join us for a full-blown Bavarian celebration in the streets featuring live music, legendary beer hall games, and, of course, enough authentic German beer to fill your stein (and then some).

Sing and dance along to authentic Bavarian polka and yodeling by Ladyhosen, followed by classic party hits by powerhouse band Pop Rocks. Test your strength in our stein-holding and non-alcoholic beer chugging contests, then refuel with German bites and 70+ beers on tap across Schroeder’s, Harrington’s, and Royal Exchange (featured menu items below).
