Our annual Heritage Day Festival is less than one week away, and we are excited to invite you to a day of shimmering costumes, thunderous drumming, and activities for all ages at China Camp Village.
Special performances/presentations
Enjoy Chinese lion and dragon dancers and other traditional dances
Watch the Grace Quan (hand-built replica of a Chinese shrimp-fishing junk) sail in and dock at the historic pier. Then join John Muir, FOCC board member emeritus and Curator of Small Crafts at the San Francisco Maritime National Historic Park, as he shares the amazing process of building the junk by hand with other volunteers.
Listen to the San Francisco Senior Center choir and the San Francisco Guqin and Xiao Music Society (playing Chinese flutes, drum, cello, and more).
