KOHO and Gardens of Golden Gate Park are excited to present the fifth annual KOHO BonPop community Bon Odori festival, taking place this year on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at the Celebration Garden in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park.

Celebrate Brazilian Independence Day and a cleansing of energies at this vibrant festival! The festivities unfold with a procession of devotees dressed in white, accompanied by lively drumming, culminating in a blessing by local children at 2 PM.

Learn from origami experts to create amazing things with paper. More than a dozen teachers and activities for folders of all levels.

Bay Area Pignic is a fundraising event for guinea pigs and their admirers. We gather each year to celebrate our funk, quirky little fuzzy potatoes, raise funds for local small animal rescues, and build community.

The Nicasio Country Fair takes place Saturday, August 22nd from 11 to 3 p.m. at the ball field in the town square.

This summer, Mill Valley comes alive with Miller Nights — a laid-back evening series designed for the community to gather, unwind, and enjoy the best of downtown. Join us June 12 and August 21 from 5–8 PM at Depot Plaza, where there will be a partial street closure on Miller Avenue to transform downtown into a vibrant summer hangout.
