Whether you’re enjoying a small-town parade, a BBQ at the park, or fireworks over the bay, the East Bay offers a spirited and welcoming way to celebrate the Fourth of July.
July 4th Parade starts at 10:00 am. Alameda's 4th of July Parade is the longest in the nation with a route that spans 3.3 miles, attracting more than 150 entries and 2,500 participants. The Parade draws over 60,000 spectators from the region and entries include a full spectrum of Bay Area residents, including equestrians, dance troops, floats, antique cars, community groups, transported and marching bands from both the community and local schools and people of all shapes and sizes.
This free, family-friendly event offers a day of live entertainment, delicious food, engaging activities for all ages, and an opportunity to connect with your community. Whether you're a longtime resident or new to the area, come enjoy the festivities, meet your neighbors, and celebrate Independence Day with us.
Join the City of Antioch in celebrating Independence Day in our historic Rivertown. Visit Waldie Plaza to experience live entertainment and enjoy local food vendors and trucks. Have an exciting time with friends and family in the Games Zone located at City Hall, before picking your spot to see the big firework show.

4th of July Parade Join us for the Brentwood Classic 4th of July Parade! The parade will begin at 9:30am with the return of the popular Children's Parade, followed immediately by the main parade.
Pre-registration is not required for the Children's Parade. Children may dress up and use bicycles, roller skates, non-motorized scooters, wagons, strollers, small battery motorized play vehicles. Be creative! Line begins at 1st and Birch.
The main parade will begin immediately following the Children's Parade, traveling from the corner of 1st and Birch, turning right on Oak Street, and ending in front of the Community Center.

This year's parade theme is Celebrating our Educators and our Grand Marshal is Chavonta Edington, Contra Costa County Teacher of the Year. The Kiwanis Club of San Ramon Valley has organized and conducted the annual Kiwanis 4th of July Parade in partnership with the Town of Danville since 1975. The parade attracts 30,000-40,000 spectators each year and is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate America's birth.

The City of Livermore hosts a daytime Fourth of July Celebration at the Livermore Municipal Airport. This family-friendly event features a variety of military aircraft, remote-control aircraft demonstrations, and displays of emergency vehicles, jets, and helicopters.
The 2nd annual Fourth of July Celebration will take place on Friday, July 4, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. In addition to the aircraft displays, attendees can enjoy food trucks, live music, a designated kids' zone, and various information booths.

Martinez 4th of July Parade, proudly presented by Martinez Refining Company. It's time to paint Main Street red, white, and blue as over 40 spirited entries march down the heart of downtown Martinez in a dazzling display of community pride and celebration.
The July 4 Celebration typically includes community activities throughout the day, culminating with a concert at 7:00pm followed by a spectacular fireworks display.
Orinda’s July 4th tradition, started in the early 1980s by The Orinda Association, is a way to celebrate Independence Day and to celebrate “community.” Thousands of citizens and visitors have gathered in previous years to participate in or watch the parade and attend the numerous events available throughout the day. This year we will have our traditional parade again – as well as a concert in the park following the parade.
Join us on July 4th for “Summer Fun on the 4th,” an exciting event from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event includes an R&B, Motown and soul music concert by Splick Da’Groove and the Everyday People, additional entertainment, a trivia contest, giveaways, and a kid's craft activity. Pleasant Hill Parade is celebrating and hope you can celebrate with us too. Join us early as we kick off the celebration with a 5K Run. Then shortly after the run the parade moves through the downtown area. Once the parade is over, families and all are encouraged to join us at Pleasant Hill Park where there will be food and entertainment.
Enjoy the fireworks show on July 1st – the Friday BEFORE July 4th. View from anywhere on the Fairgrounds with the best viewing over the Stella Artois Grandstand. The show will begin after the concert performance. Plus a new show this year – a nightly Drone Show over the Stella Artois Grandstand. Enjoy a magical light show put on with drones! Visible all over the Fairgrounds, the best viewing is at the race track.

The San Ramon 4th of July Celebration Concert will feature Billy Nation performing a high energy tribute show to the legendary music of Billy Joel! The evening will begin with patriotic music from Olympia Fields, and a tribute to our Veterans at 5:00 pm. The San Ramon Arts Foundation will have wine, beer, soda, and water available for purchase. Shade structures, tents, and umbrellas will only be permitted at the top of the ridge/hill to ensure lines of sight remain open.

Join us for a 5K run (3.1 mile) and walk through beautiful Alameda starting at 9:00AM, just before the historic 4th of July Parade. This run benefits the Midway Shelter for Women and Children. We are working closely with the City of Alameda on both the Parade and run so that we can bring a safe and fun experience for both runners and spectators.
